Initial registration will take a few minutes, you only to fill in your basic information and activate your account using the information email that you will receive. Your remaining profile bits you can update them later at your own convenience.

You need to use the Register link in the log in box on the homepage.

You will need to register to utilize the site in full, however you can still browse through and access large portions of the site without the need to register a profile. You can see the full musicians list however without access to profile view. You can browse through and search the directory and use the submit form to add an entry if you want. You can browse through classifieds section in full. You can browse through Groups section in full. You can browse through Events section in full and use the submit form to add an event.

Mainly musicians and anyone who is related to the music field, be it producers, stores, labels, or simply big fans.

From your profile page, edit on top left, and then update image from drop down menu.

From your profile page, Edit on top left, Update Your Profile from the drop down, then Manage Music tab. First enter a playlist name, then browse to the file you want to upload (you can upload to 3 files, and total space you have is 20 MB), then you can manage your options by allowing / disallowing people to download your original tracks.

From the Musicians list, browse to the profile of the person you want to Add, Connections button on top, and Send Connection Request. Add a message to that and the user will be notified and either approve or reject your request.

From your profile page, user menu on the left bar, click on My Mail and that will take you to your mailbox where you can view messages or send to any registered user.

From your profile page, below your profile title, click on that area and you can add a new status or update your current, click update and there you go.

As soon as you log in, a bar at the bottom (DubaiMusicians.com Chat) appears. Only users added to your connections will appear on your chat list. To see the chat list, click on Online Friends tab at the bottom right and you will see who is online and available for chat. Click on a user name and you can start chatting.

Note: This feature is not fully compatible with Google Chrome.

After you log in, go to Groups section, there you will see a "Create your Own Group" button below the search. Click on that and you will be taken to the form. Choose category, type, and fill in name and description and upload your group avatar and your group will be immediately available. You can then access it from My Groups tab in your profile or My Groups widget on the left.

From your profile page, My Classifieds tab. There you will find a menu with all your classifieds controls and any classified ads you added. Classifieds live for 30 days and you will be sent a reminder email to either update or remove them a week before they complete 30 days.

First check your junk mail, then make sure that your junk mail settings are not "auto delete" junk messages. Try to log in again and you should receive the activation email once more. If all fails, use the contact form and submit a request to resend the activation email.

DubaiMusicians.com is a community site and the prettier it looks the better :) If you have not uploaded an avatar for your profile for a couple of days, an avatar from the gallery will be randomly and automatically signed to you. You can always remove it or replace it with another.

If you are uploading more than one file at a time, try to upload the MP3s one by one. Make sure they are not above 128 bit as well, and finally make sure that the final name does not have any apostrophe's in it (e.g. don't, won't, etc). If you are still having problems uploading your music, please use the contact form to submit your problem.
